Hi Reader, I've wondered how to broach this subject for months now, but the only thing I keep coming back to is that I've never been one to beat around the bush. So, I'll just say it: I'm creating space for myself to focus on some big goals, which means... I'm taking a break from leading group trips. Allow me to unpack what that means into three short parts: 1. Peru is your last chance to travel WITH me. What this break directly means is that my hiking trip to Peru this Sep 24- Oct 4 is your last chance to travel with me for the foreseeable future. We still have 2 spots left. If you've had it on your bucket list to travel with me, or to travel to Peru, or both, the time is now. This is your not-so-gentle push to take a breath, then take the leap, book the trip, do the thing! This invitation may not ever come back around. Your last day to book Peru is June 24th (unless it sells out first). Don't wait until it's too late.
2. I'm taking a leap of my own, and I'm really excited about what's to come. While it has been my dream-come-true to organize and lead the most incredible adventures ever with the BEST people (this community never cease to amaze me) over these past nearly 10 years (I led my first trip to Patagonia in 2016!), the time has come for me to focus on making some of my other really big dreams come true (because if not me, who? And if not now, when?). I'll share more about those with you when the time is right, but in the meantime, I really appreciate your understanding and continued support. 3. We are adventure travel experts, and JUMP is still here for you! JUMP Adventures is here to stay - it's just going to look a little different going forward. I have spent the past decade curating what I believe to be the BEST adventure experiences with the BEST local partners in some of the most epic destinations around the world (like Patagonia, Jordan, New Zealand, and beyond). Those adventures (and more) are all still available to you, at any time, and with anyone you want to bring with you. At JUMP, we've been organizing and customizing our tried and true adventures for private groups, couples (hello, adventure honeymoon!), and friends, for several years now, allowing our custom participants the flexibility of choosing their own travel buddies, dates, and destinations while still benefiting from the expertise and delivery of the JUMP Adventures experience. We believe so fiercely in the beauty and potential of the adventure itineraries we've created that we couldn't be more excited to continue inviting you to far off places to experience them for yourself, with your people. Check out some of our itineraries below, and stay tuned for more!
Back to what's pressing for today: we have TWO spots left for Peru this September, and June 24th is your LAST DAY to book. If you'd like to join me one last time (at least for now!) in lovely, wild, ancient Peru, you know what to do!
Lastly, even though I feel very optimistic about the new door I'm pushing open, it still means that one is closing, so to honor the door that is closing I will say – you, my community of JUMP people, really are the best. You've been the best part of this beautiful group trip experience for me over the past decade, and I can't be more grateful for everything I've learned from you, the friendships I've found in you, and some of the absolute best moments of my life thus far that I've shared with you. THANK YOU for joining me on this wild adventure, and here's to many more to come! (Just maybe in different ways 🥰). ❤️ Jackie |

You didn't have to open this email, just as you don't have to listen to my podcast or be interested in anything I have to say. But if you ARE here for any of these things, and I know you're at least here for one -- THANK YOU. Thanks for opening the emails, for listening to the show, for sharing it with your friends, for showing up and coming along this wild ride with me. I know that your time is a precious resource, and I appreciate you spending any of it with me, in any format. When I was in...
Hello friend! I just returned from a writing retreat in Scotland... ✨ It was unlike any trip I've ever taken, and I can't wait to share more about that adventure with you in the near future, but for today, I have a little gift for you. Yesterday a new episode of the podcast came out featuring my friend Vince Mazzuca over at Osprey Packs, and we talked about all things packing, travel, and the importance of getting outside and disconnecting. (Listen to it here or watch it on YouTube). In the...
Hello and happy almost-November to you! I just recently returned from a month in South America, leading a group trip in Peru, attending the Adventure Travel World Summit in Chile, and... after 10 years of traveling to and from and around Chile, I finally made it to Easter Island! Known locally as Rapa Nui, Easter Island is one of the most remote inhabited islands on the planet. It's also a Chilean territory, and the only way to get there is to fly from Santiago – about a 4.5-hour flight WAY...
