Thank you and a personal update from Jackie

You didn't have to open this email, just as you don't have to listen to my podcast or be interested in anything I have to say. But if you ARE here for any of these things, and I know you're at least here for one -- THANK YOU.

Thanks for opening the emails, for listening to the show, for sharing it with your friends, for showing up and coming along this wild ride with me.

I know that your time is a precious resource, and I appreciate you spending any of it with me, in any format.

When I was in Scotland a few weeks ago, I recorded something special for you - the real life sunrise over Edinburgh Castle, as seen not from a professional camera, not from a drone, but from my top floor hotel window just beside the castle...

When I got home, I recorded another something special for you - a solo podcast episode, recapping some of the lessons I learned and was reminded of in my travels this past year (they might sound familiar to you), a status update on what I've been up to (in Scotland and beyond) and what I'm planning for the near future, as well as where JUMP Adventures fits into that, and finally, I share four of my favorite personal practices that I do at the end of every year to set myself up for success in the new year. Perhaps one of them will speak to you and you'll want to try it out for yourself!

And there's an invitation and a challenge in there for you as well (when you get to it, feel free to reply to this email, you'll know why šŸ˜‰).

You can find all of this in episode 200 of the podcast, and you have options (btw - 200 episodes! 🄳 I couldn't have reached this milestone without you, so thank you again!):

If you choose to listen/watch, I hope you enjoy it. And whether you listen or not, I hope this email you've chosen to open today finds you in a good place, and I wish you the best as we head into a new year together.

šŸ’› Cheers from Montana,

Jackie

P.S. By popular demand - I mention in this episode that we have group trips to Patagonia available to book - and yes, it IS true! You can find them at TravelingJackie.com/Patagonia for now, and I will be sending more info about these trips soon.

Courage to Leave What's Comfortable with Walker Smith

A friend recently came to me seeking advice regarding my lifestyle around travel. He finds himself "at a bit of a crossroads" in his life and specifically wanted my perspective. My little podcast heart thought, Oh this is going to be good. We should definitely have this conversation, but we should have it out loud for others to hear and potentially benefit from as well. Because I know that nearly all of us hit the "crossroads" at one point or another, or if you're anything like me, you hit it...

Chilean Patagonia Road Trip

Once upon a December of 2017, I set off in a Toyota 4Runner down the length of Chilean Patagonia with a friend to drive the famous Carretera Austral - Chile's "Southern Highway." This "highway" is interrupted by fjords and lakes (and therefore lots of ferries), and dotted with volcanoes, glaciers, coastline, vast expanses of remote landscapes, and jaw-droppingly beautiful national parks. On that trip, I experienced the most freedom I've ever felt in my adult life. Fun Fact: This region of...

Group Coaching

Hey Reader, I'm just back from three weeks in summery New Zealand and I’m writing from Montana where it actually does look like Spring in March (this is a first)! I have an exclusive opportunity for you today - something that will bring us together in real time, on a personal level, and you don't even have to buy a plane ticket to get there. Starting April 2nd (so you know this isn't a joke šŸ˜‰), I'll be leading small group community coaching sessions. We're taking our JUMP group magic to a new...
