An Epic Chilean Patagonia Road Trip

Once upon a December of 2017, I set off in a Toyota 4Runner down the length of Chilean Patagonia with a friend to drive the famous Carretera Austral - Chile's "Southern Highway."

This "highway" is interrupted by fjords and lakes (and therefore lots of ferries), and dotted with volcanoes, glaciers, coastline, vast expanses of remote landscapes, and jaw-droppingly beautiful national parks.

On that trip, I experienced the most freedom I've ever felt in my adult life.

Last week on the podcast, I went back there with my friend Christian Morrison, founder of EcoChile, as he recounts his recent trip exploring the Carretera Austral and beyond. Watch here or 👇

Tune in to daydream (and take notes) about the most epic road trip ever, which should absolutely, 100% be on your MUST-DO list if you seek a real adventure.

And the best part (because like most of Patagonia, the logistics are complicated) - Christian's company EcoChile can help you plan it! Well, maybe also the best part is that you can save 5% on ANY trip you book with EcoChile if you tell them Traveling Jackie sent you. And if that sounds familiar - it's because they are the company I traveled to Easter Island with last year! Highly recommend. 🤩

Hope you enjoy this episode!

PS - On an entirely different note - we still have spots open for group coaching, starting April 2nd! ⚡️

Courage to Leave What's Comfortable with Walker Smith

A friend recently came to me seeking advice regarding my lifestyle around travel. He finds himself "at a bit of a crossroads" in his life and specifically wanted my perspective. My little podcast heart thought, Oh this is going to be good. We should definitely have this conversation, but we should have it out loud for others to hear and potentially benefit from as well. Because I know that nearly all of us hit the "crossroads" at one point or another, or if you're anything like me, you hit it...

Group Coaching

Hey Reader, I'm just back from three weeks in summery New Zealand and I’m writing from Montana where it actually does look like Spring in March (this is a first)! I have an exclusive opportunity for you today - something that will bring us together in real time, on a personal level, and you don't even have to buy a plane ticket to get there. Starting April 2nd (so you know this isn't a joke 😉), I'll be leading small group community coaching sessions. We're taking our JUMP group magic to a new...

Rainbow Mountain Peru

Meet LeAnn She's pretty neat - she discovered Rainbow Mountain as we know it. 🤯 I met LeAnn three years ago on an adventure trip to Quebec, and she told me a story that had my jaw dropping and remaining open, because it was that hard to believe. She tells that same story this week on the podcast, and even if you've never heard of Rainbow Mountain in Peru, you might feel like you can go out and move mountains yourself after hearing how one decision to take a hike completely changed her life....
