Yeah let's go back to that first part in case you missed that story - I not only got to meet Samantha Brown in person a few months ago, but I sat on stage with her and chatted through an interview, both of us as guests, both of us answering questions from the perspective of well-traveled females, can I just say it was wild and thrilling and PINCH ME?! And then... I asked her to be a guest on my podcast, and... SHE GAVE ME HER PHONE NUMBER. 😳 But I digress, she also enthusiastically accepted my invitation - she is the real deal, she's so kind, she's just as lovely in person as she seems on TV. And bottom line is - we made this for you! And, drumroll please... 🥁 ... You can actually WATCH it! Yep, we have officially begun our journey into fully edited VIDEOS for the podcast, starting with none other than my new friend Samantha Brown in episode 185. Now I can't hide behind the mic anymore or deny just how much I talk with my hands.
Of course you can still listen on your favorite podcast platform, but if you want to see the faces behind the voices, come join us on YouTube! We have fun, I promise. Be sure to subscribe to my channel (@TravelingJackie) so you don't miss out on new videos - like this one that just came out last week with my friend Jason Moore from Zero to Travel, and guess what - because it's video, it includes PHOTOS from one of my craziest travel stories yet that happened in Norway last month... so. cool. I'd be super grateful if you hit like on the videos and leave a comment to tell me what you enjoyed about them, these little acts help more than you think! Thanks for supporting me on this new path of the wild adventure that is podcasting. As always, I'm so grateful you are here, and I hope you enjoy the new video episodes. ❤️ Jackie |

A friend recently came to me seeking advice regarding my lifestyle around travel. He finds himself "at a bit of a crossroads" in his life and specifically wanted my perspective. My little podcast heart thought, Oh this is going to be good. We should definitely have this conversation, but we should have it out loud for others to hear and potentially benefit from as well. Because I know that nearly all of us hit the "crossroads" at one point or another, or if you're anything like me, you hit it...
Once upon a December of 2017, I set off in a Toyota 4Runner down the length of Chilean Patagonia with a friend to drive the famous Carretera Austral - Chile's "Southern Highway." This "highway" is interrupted by fjords and lakes (and therefore lots of ferries), and dotted with volcanoes, glaciers, coastline, vast expanses of remote landscapes, and jaw-droppingly beautiful national parks. On that trip, I experienced the most freedom I've ever felt in my adult life. Fun Fact: This region of...
Hey Reader, I'm just back from three weeks in summery New Zealand and I’m writing from Montana where it actually does look like Spring in March (this is a first)! I have an exclusive opportunity for you today - something that will bring us together in real time, on a personal level, and you don't even have to buy a plane ticket to get there. Starting April 2nd (so you know this isn't a joke 😉), I'll be leading small group community coaching sessions. We're taking our JUMP group magic to a new...
