Watch this! Samantha Brown and I made it for you ☺️

Yeah let's go back to that first part in case you missed that story - I not only got to meet Samantha Brown in person a few months ago, but I sat on stage with her and chatted through an interview, both of us as guests, both of us answering questions from the perspective of well-traveled females, can I just say it was wild and thrilling and PINCH ME?!

And then... I asked her to be a guest on my podcast, and...

SHE GAVE ME HER PHONE NUMBER. 😳

But I digress, she also enthusiastically accepted my invitation - she is the real deal, she's so kind, she's just as lovely in person as she seems on TV.

And bottom line is - we made this for you!

And, drumroll please... 🥁 ... You can actually WATCH it!

Yep, we have officially begun our journey into fully edited VIDEOS for the podcast, starting with none other than my new friend Samantha Brown in episode 185. Now I can't hide behind the mic anymore or deny just how much I talk with my hands.

Of course you can still listen on your favorite podcast platform, but if you want to see the faces behind the voices, come join us on YouTube! We have fun, I promise.

Be sure to subscribe to my channel (@TravelingJackie) so you don't miss out on new videos - like this one that just came out last week with my friend Jason Moore from Zero to Travel, and guess what - because it's video, it includes PHOTOS from one of my craziest travel stories yet that happened in Norway last month... so. cool.

I'd be super grateful if you hit like on the videos and leave a comment to tell me what you enjoyed about them, these little acts help more than you think! Thanks for supporting me on this new path of the wild adventure that is podcasting. As always, I'm so grateful you are here, and I hope you enjoy the new video episodes.

Happy September! I hope you had a great summer, mine was gloriously long and slow -- starting with 6 weeks in Europe, and then a couple solid months in Montana full of outdoor adventures, lots of ice hockey, and quality time with quality people. I can feel time speeding up now as I'm heading into my busier travel season, but before we get there, let's take a step back. We've had some incredibly inspiring people join us on the podcast this summer, and I am so impressed by them and the stories...

Best Luggage for Adventure Travel

Hello from Montana! I'm gearing up for my upcoming adventures to Peru and Chile starting next month, which includes making sure I have what I need BEFORE I travel. Figuring out what to pack for a trip can be hard enough on its own, but one thing people often overlook is choosing exactly the right luggage to pack and carry with you. I've made many mistakes in luggage choice over and over in my past 20+ years of traveling, and I'm here to help you get it right! Because the truth is... Your...

Big news from Jackie

Hi Reader, I've wondered how to broach this subject for months now, but the only thing I keep coming back to is that I've never been one to beat around the bush. So, I'll just say it: I'm creating space for myself to focus on some big goals, which means... I'm taking a break from leading group trips. Allow me to unpack what that means into three short parts: 1. Peru is your last chance to travel WITH me. What this break directly means is that my hiking trip to Peru this Sep 24- Oct 4 is your...
